Structured polycarbonate panels
The structured polycarbonate panels (SPC panels) are extruded panels, meant for the interior and exterior glazing.
Light and solid
The SPC panels are extremely light. Their impact strength is high owing to the excellent mechanophysical properties - the panels are practically unbreakable. They are much lighter than the ordinary glass and are more resistant to impacts.
Heat and sound insulation
The specific structure of the SPC panels assures high heat and sound insulation performance of the SPC panels. The extended offer of thickness and structures provides the selection of the optimal type of the panel for the wanted application.
Practically non-flammable sheets
The SPC panels are practically non-flammable. In the case of fire the panels do not allow spreading of fire with a flame. The panels satisfy requirements of all European fire standards.
Resistant to weather conditions
The SPC panels with the UV protection are resistant to UV rays and are more durable than the ordinary SPC panels. They are suitable for exterior glazing. The panels prove resistant at high temperature oscillations. For the interior glazing we recommend SPC panels without UV protection.
Simple manipulation at transportation and at fitting
The manipulation with the SPC panels at the transportation, storage, and fitting is very simple. Besides the standard formats of the SPC panels the company Akripol offers panels, cut up according to the client's wishes and schemes. Likewise, the company Akripol offers to its clients all the necessary fastening and connecting material, required for the fitting (aluminium profiles, etc.).
Guaranteed durability
The company Akripol offers the following guarantees for all the professionally built-in SPC panels with the thickness of at least 6 mm:
- 10-years guarantee for the loss of the light transmission for more than 6 % in comparison to the initial value at the time of the fitting;
- 10-years guarantee for more than 10 % increase of the yellowing index of the transparent SPC panels;
- 10-years guarantee for the mechanical property stability;
The guarantee is valid only for the panels, which have not been exposed to the exterior chemical impact and to the chemical substances, exerting harmful effect on the polycarbonate.
The guarantee is likewise valid only for the professionally built-in panels.
