Aglas SS

The acrylic sheets SS are a special type of the cast acrylic sheets(PMMA), meant for the manufacture of sound barriers. Due to the special chemical composition (larger cross-linking of sheets and bigger additives of UV stabilizers) the aging resistance of these sheets is substantially higher compared to the standard acrylic sheets, and furthermore, these sheets satisfy the standard requirements, prescribing the minimum sound transfer at the transmission through the sound barrier, as well.

Aglas SS STANDARD

The Aglas SS STANDARD is the basic type of the cast acrylic sheets(PMMA), meant for the manufacture of sound barriers. The excellent mechanophysical properties of these sheets enable the manufacture of sound barriers, fulfilling the requirements of standards, regulating sound barriers.

Aglas SS PA6

The Aglas SS PA6 is the modified type of the sheets Aglas SS STANDARD, reinforced with the polyamide fibres net. In the case of eventual break or smash, the polyamide fibres retain the arisen tiny particles of the acrylic (PMMA) from falling on the floor. The acrylic sheets Aglas SS PA6 are meant, first of all, for the manufacture of sound barriers, installed in road sections, where, in the case of the break of the sound barrier, the broken particles on the roadway could be the cause of major consequences (for instance at car accident; sound barriers in cities, at overpasses and underpasses, etc.).
