Socially responsible acting

We realize how important has become the active communication with narrow and wider social environment, as well as the integration into the environment, for the long-term development of the company.

We have succeeded to build a solid relationship of mutual independence with the environment, in which our activity is conducted, since the beginnings in the year 1974. In the majority of cases our employees are also our near neighbours, and our neighbours are our partners in the narrow and wider environment. We create and grow one with another.

By managing our business activity we are responsible to the owners, to our clients, to the employees, and to environment. We help the environment, which is enabling us our further development, to our outmost endeavours. We are substantially supporting sports, culture, and humanitarian activities.

Regarding sports, we are financially supporting the handball club Rokometni klub Trimo Trebnje, playing in the first Slovenian league; however, in accordance with our financial capabilities we listen also to the young promising individuals, whose results have not yet been so media monitored and noted today.

Culture - important domain, always struggling with financial difficulties. People in our milieu can proudly talk about their rich cultural activity, developed and cultivated by local cultural and tourist associations. Akripol gladly offers help at the realization of the nowadays already well-known tourist - cultural events, as for instance Trebanjski koš (The basket of Trebnje) and Razhodnja on Čatež, the central final show at the march from Litija to Čatež. Likewise, Akripol also assists at the organization and the realization of minor cultural events and supports various associations in the municipality.

Within the framework of humanitarian activities we sponsor the association Sožitje, founded for the assistance of persons with particular needs. Likewise, in accordance with the requirements and capabilities, we also sponsor, with our products, other associations, developing voluntary activity of co-human assistance to people and to their animal friends.

By applying of our environmental policy, defined in the PROGRAMME OF PROTECTION, and with our responsible work towards environment, we are constantly aiming at the reduction of the negative impacts on environment, as well as at the environmental protection.
